Is your piano below or above the standard musical pitch of A-440?  Does it sound poorly?  Call Keyboard Works toll-free at 1-866-244-5652, or 215-455-4328 for piano tunings, regulating, and repairing services on all types of acoustic pianos.

Are you sure that you need a new piano?  It may not be necessarily so; it may only need the routine maintenance required of all pianos.  In today's economic climate, can you really afford to buy a new piano?  Restoring what you have can oftentimes save you a ton of money, and give you the same quality sound of a new one.  Keyboard Works has been providing piano services to Philadelphia, the Delaware Valley, and the surrounding areas since 1987.  This privately-owned-and-operated business has more than 23 years' experience.

Do not wait until your piano sounds bad.  Pianos should be tuned at least twice a year due to regular use, and changes in humidity.  The moving parts of the piano should be regulated every 2 years for residential customers.  Models that are used professionally and receive frequent use, such as those in churches, schools, and commercial establishments should be tuned even more often, and the action regulated as often as needed.   Regular tuning and maintenance keeps the piano ready and prepared for concerts, recording sessions, professional teaching, band rehearsals, etc.. It also helps to keep the piano from deteriorating, and can save you money in the long run.

Is your piano on display as a piece of furniture only with no intent on maintaining it, or using it to make music?  Did you know that when pianos are not tuned, it affects the soundboard, bridges, pinblock, and the moving parts of the action, causing them to crack, warp, or break - making it impossible to stay in tune?  This is not something that you would like to see or hear in the event that you have a skilled musician in your midst play on it during a family and friends gathering.

Are you having trouble remembering when your piano was tuned and serviced last?  Consider purchasing a regular maintence contract for the piano to be routinely serviced several times a year.  Give your pianists, singers, and other musicians an instrument that is tuned, functioning properly, and ready to use so they can sound their best.

Planning a concert, talent show, family affair, school reunion, church fellowship, birthday or anniversary party, where live music will be used as an integral part of the event?  Please do not forget to include the tuning and servicing of your piano in your budget.  Make the event a more enjoyable and pleasant experience.

Piano lessons for beginners of all ages are also available.  Church music (of various styles), and classical music is integrated in award-winning lesson plans.  You must have a piano that is tuned for good sound quality, and ear training purposes. The mechanical parts of the piano should be in good working order as well for eveness of touch.  Remember, piano students need as much incentive to practice as possible, and a properly tuned and regulated piano helps to meet this need.  Would prefer that potential students learn to play on an acoustic piano because of the unique touch and tone qualities that they provide, but if you must practice your lessons on an electronic piano, it should also have:

1.  Touch Response Sensitivity -- the ability to play soft and loud based on the amount of finger, hand, or arm pressure placed   on the piano keys, without having to adjust volume control knobs.

2.  88 Weighted Keys - which attempts to give the same feel or touch as an acoustic piano.

All services cater to churches, private businesses, schools, concert stages, studios, and the general public. For excellence in beginner piano lessons, and piano tuning services, call Keyboard Works toll-free at 1-866-244-5652, or 215-455-4328 today!
