I am looking for born-again christians who are interested in:
1) Glorifying God through Jesus Christ our
Lord with music
2) Edifying the Church of Christ with music
3) Using your musical gifts in urban ministry
4) Forming a Music Production Company in the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Area committed to Church Music
The purpose and goal is to be a multi-cultural ministry which uses past and present musical compositons (psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, etc.) by Christians of all nationalities and cultures to glorify God, edify the church, and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord with those in need of salvation. To encourage believers to use their musical gifts in urban ministry. One of the goals is to lead worship services with the poor, homeless, seniors, and anyone in need of the love of Jesus Christ our Lord. For more information contact Gerald Carter at 866-244-5652.
Do you have musical instruments lying around the house in good condition or in need of minor repair that you no longer need nor use? Please prayerfully consider donating them to this ministry. Interested in sponsoring this ministry, helping with fundraising, contributing financially, or in some other way? Contact Gerald Carter at 866-244-5652.
For information on how to become a born-again believer:
1. Believe the good news of Jesus Christ our Lord as recorded in the Holy Bible that Christ died for our sins (forgiveness of them) according to the scriptures and rose again from the dead for our justification (Christ's substitutionary death is the means by which sinners are cleansed of sin and justified before God). Believe that Jesus is the only way to God the Father. As a result of this belief you will be given the gift of eternal life, and the gift of the Holy Spirit who will lead and guide you into all truth.
2. Call upon the Lord for mercy and to save you from:
a. Your sins, and those of your ancestors.
b. This perverse and adulterous generation.
c. From the power of Satan to God. From darkness to light.
d. From the wrath of God which abides upon you right now as a result of unbelief.
e. From future condemnation to the lake of fire for all eternity.
3. Believe that he is now alive and seated at the right hand of the Father, having all power and authority in heaven and earth now given unto Him. Believe that he is coming again to judge the living and the dead.
4. Confess your sins. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." "Whosoever says they have not sinned is a liar and the truth is not in them." "Sin is transgressing (breaking) the law of God." "Whatsoever is not of faith is sin." "To know to do good and not do it is sin." "All unrighteousness is sin." "If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" through the shed blood of Christ our Lord on the cross.
5. Repent (turn from sin). "Except ye repent you will all likewise perish," as says our Lord. Through the Holy Spirit we are able to mortify (subdue) the evil deeds of our bodies.
6. Submit to God the Father by obeying Christ, His only begotten Son. "Why call me Lord, Lord and obey not my teachings?" says the Lord. We are called upon to take up our cross and follow Him.
7. Pray (talk) to God through Christ and to Him only. "There is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
8. Openly confess Christ as your Lord and Savior and spread his word and teachings to all who will listen. This is what Christ our Lord says, "Whosoever will be ashamed of me, of him will I be ashamed before my Father which is in heaven, and the holy angels".
9. Read the Holy Bible daily. God reveals His will for us through it. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God for doctrine, reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man (or woman) of God may be perfect (complete)".
10. Seek God's face and attend a bible believing church where the Word of God is preached in its proper context for worship, fellowship with other believers, and continued growth and development. Please consider Tenth Presbyterian Church as a possible source where these needs can be met. Visit Tenth's home page at www.tenth.org.
